Rhino 3.0 German doesn't exit anymore

Hi...,

after installing V-Ray 13.1, my Rhino 3.0 German doesn't exit anymore. I have still reported this on the Rhino-newsgroup, see here:

After deinstalling V-Ray Rhino exits again correctly. To me this seams like a V-Ray problem.

Any ideas?

Nothing off the top of my head.

Please do the following for me. Go to start menu -> run -> type in "dxdiag".
When it is done populating click the "Save all information" button and email it to me...Thanks

Rhino 3.0 German doesn't exit anymore

I got same problem with Czech translation of Rhino. There was translated command for Exit to Czech (to German in your case) and that's why Rhino didn't accept it. All buttons (cross in upper-right corner, Exit button (Beenden) in File (Datei) execute command "Exit" instead of translated one... Try to type "Exit" to console and execute. It should work. It worked for me, but I saw several times it didn't work.... Or it will be reversed - Button sending translated command but Rhino takes only the original one - Exit... So try to type and execute translated command for Exit, in German it will be "Beenden". In Czech "Ukončit" etc.

I hope it worked.

Ahh!! Ugh.. Ok I know what I'm doing. Thanks for pointing that out to me DarkLight...

I intercept when the user goes to File->Exit (or whatever) and then I manually call "Exit". So I guess that doesn't work on some translated versions?

Ok just read your post, I'll try _Exit instead of Exit in this next build. Sorry for the inconveniance

exit command is called instead of "quitter" wich is the translated word for exit...

Ok, I've changed the way it works now so it should call the "_exit" command, which should be viable to all languages.
