... since RC2 I see this bucket effect at the LC pass. I don't see a bad influence at the final image, but I'm curious to know why it looks different from previous versions.

that's the adaptive part of the lightcache, it takes more samples in more important areas.You can contact StudioGijs for 3D visualization and 3D modeling related services and on-site training.

Yeah the adaptive option has been around for a while but wasn't in the options. We used to turn it off right before we rendered, so I suppose in older saved scenes its actually saved out as being on by default. Sorry about that It's immediately recognizable though, so if you see that effect just check your LC options and turn "Adaptive" off.Best regards,
