    Ohh .. one more ask:
Why the material preview work's so SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why the material name swap to alfabetic in clic end. To much time i config other material because that automatic swap names in the list.

      Re: Where's caustic????

      1. I would point you to Wouter's caustic tutorial, as thats a great explanation.

      2. I would also tell you to try and have a darker environment. Its usually much harder to see caustics in a bright environment because the caustics get "washed out" by the surrounding light.

      3. Try to use either spotlights, point lights or a small area light. That alone can make a huge difference. Generally larger rectangle lights don't produce a very sharp caustic because of the difference in where the light is coming from. Also with the larger rec lights it will require more subdivisions to get better results which means more time and taking up more memory.

      4. Also try to work with the intensity multiplier in the caustics rollout. Sometimes a light thats at the right value for lighting is too faint for caustics so this will allow you to increase the effect w/o increasing the intensity of the lighting.

      5. Try to focus your attention on the caustics for 1-3 lights. After that it becomes very hard to balance the caustics, and the end result is usually not as strong. (if you don't want caustics appearing for a given light you can effectively "disable" caustics by only having 1 subdivision)

      6. When doing tests decrease the caustics subdivisions. When your just trying to see whats going on it helps to get the feedback as quick as possible (usually around 500 is good, but still pretty quick)

Hope this helps...post some tests and some settings as well. That way its much easier to get more specific feedback.

Because its not a 32x32 poor quality render. Perhaps it should be...

I figured that would make it easier to quickly find a material. Perhaps I am wrong
