  • VfR 3 SR1 - Sun/Sky

I'm having trouble with the Sun/Sky System in Rhino 3/SR1. Once the Sun has been created and placed (using the "Sunlight" command) the light does not appear in the Environment - GI/Background editors.

I had mentioned the problem earlier here:

Interesting...ok I'll have to mess around with that to see if I can figure that out...off-hand I'm not sure why that wouldn't work properly

Looks like vista...how's that working out for you both with V-ray and Rhino? Just want to know bc it looks like I will be needing a new laptop in the very near future.

It's actually XP, with a downloaded theme. I'm not brave enough to try Vista yet.

A general question for those still using VfR 3/SR1 (if there are any left)... is anyone else having this problem? I'm wondering if its a conflict on my system or not.

                Joe,
Is there any chance for a quick fix on the sun hook-up? I need to do an exterior scene this week and would love to use the sun/sky setup. Pretty Please?

I'll take a look at it and see what the scope of the changes would need to be. I'll contact you via PM about any developments.
                  Best regards,
