  • Lighting stays the same on Vrayfor Rhino4 running on Vista

    Hi.
    I'm new at Vray.
I've downloaded a tutorial for Vray to learn it. It says to uncheck Default Lighting, and play with the numbers but what ever I do, the light doesn't change.
I also tryed playing with the FOV - trying to Focus on one object but yet again - no change in the scene, though I used aparture variation from 1 to 200.

Did anyone experience this kind of problem?
I guess I'm doing something wrong which is very basic.

    Thanks allot
    Lior

Chances are that you still have the Physical Camera enabled (its on by default) which can cause somethings to not react as you would necessarily expect. The link below is for our old default settings. The are much more of a "clean slate", and are a good place to start if you go through the training manual (something else I recommend)

might as well give you the link to the manual too (must be logged in)

Without physical camera DOF direct works, that means, the Rhino camera and the default camera are conected. The physical cam dosn't work right for DOF usage now, but there is a workaround:
