Re: Black Screen at high res output

Micha- The site you're referring to is actually just where we mess around with site templates, and do other terrible experiments. It's not really supposed to be used by anyone, because at any given moment it could be totally changed, wiped out, or something along those lines. I wouldn't recommend using it to submit tickets, or anything else that might be remotely important, unless one of us tells you otherwise.

With that said, when you submit a support ticket via the reseller site, there is no option to submit feature requests, only support tickets. We saw the past couple of tickets you sent to us, and then moved them to the feature request list. I tried submitting a support ticket through the "reseller" site, and I received an auto reply with a case number and of the wonderful things that normally are sent along when you submit a ticket. We are unable to check outgoing mail, but most likely, an auto response was sent to the email address you specified (@gmx.li) and then it was blocked or caught in a spam filter. We haven't heard any reports from our other users yet that indicate that they're not receiving the auto response message. Maybe try using a different email address than the @gmx.li one?

OK, I will use Internet Explorer and an other email adress. Any chance to get the ASGvis pages at Opera?

Is it possible to send emails to the tracking system, maybe at a special adress, so that attachments are direct possible?

Re: Black Screen at high res output

We are never going to post the email addresses on the site, because we're trying to avoid spam bots, so here's how this works. Once you receive an auto response, the email address that the auto response comes from, is the address you want to send emails to about that topic.

If you send off a feature request for V-Ray for Rhino for instance, you will receive an auto response from our ticket system. If you send an email to that email address, you will effectively be submitting a feature request to our support system. If you send off a support request for V-Ray for Rhino, you should receive an email from a different email address than you would if you had sent off a feature request.

Each form that we have on our support ticket page corresponds with a different email address. So basically, if you want to know what the email addresses are for our support system, you'll have to submit a ticket through our support page first.

If this doesn't make sense, just forget what I said, and use the forms on our support page.

I just upgraded to SR1 for EDU, and I'm glad to have the (intentional) size limitation lifted, but frustrated to find the same problem Micha posted. Thanks for reporting this.

This has happened to me with the new demo version, I loaded a scene that I had done with a previous version to test the new one, and till I rendered in viewport resolutions everythinh went fine, when I rendered in a 3500x2750 resolution I had a blackscreen and the .targa file that was saved from the calculation couldn't be opened by Photoshop!

Today I tried to get the context menu running again, but need a long time to find the way again. So, here a screenshot for me and anybody who need it too. Or will the context menu entry be automatic done per next VfR install? Could be great.
