Version 01.05.29 for Rhino 4
Basically, I was rendering an image and adjusting the materials and everything was working perfectly fine. Everything was showing up and rendering like I wanted it to.
Then, suddenly, I switch to a higher quality preset render setting and Vray continually fails to recognize the texture files even when they're simple jpgs, gifs, pngs etc. I've tried remaking the materials from scratch and still it's the same problem. Even while the links are all right and the files open fine by themselves, no preview shows up on the material viewer. Just a blank gray ball.
edit:
Okay, followup:
After doing some searching, I didn't find an answer but someone else's problem lead me to a solution to my problem. Basically, V-ray was getting read errors and the copies to made to the Temp folder under ASGvis. It saved as jpg2, jpg3 files and it wasn't recognizing them during the render phase.
