  • Rhino crashes when trying to render sketchup imports

I'm using some simple imports from sketchup, photo mapped cars...my file size is relatively low...about 65mb. anytime there is a sketchup object with mapped material vray seems to dislike this and crashes...I get a Microsoft Visuall C+++++ warning and it shuts down. Any advice or why this is happening?

check the images on the materials - make sure the image maps are RGB (not index or CMYK or grayscale), and also not progressive scan jpegs. if the images are ok, you may have a bad mesh, try hiding all but one of the imported mesh objects, then render, to find the bad one.
