  • Render ID and Shadow Channel trouble

Hello, I apologize if I am asking something that has probably been already addressed, but I couldn't find a proper answer searching the forum.

We are currently using VRAY 1.5 on rhino 5.0 (5.1.20613.840, 13/06/2012).

I would like to understand if the Shadow and Render ID channel are working as expected.

    1. The problem we found with the shadow channel is an extra pixel around the edge, which seems to be incorrect to us:

    2. The Render ID problem instead has to do with an aliased edge (it is documented in vray online manual http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/rhin...r_elements.htm),. Here I just wonder why it is like this and what is the expected use of it:

    Hello fedexdga

Thank you very much for your feedback.
We've done some tests and indeed this is a bug with Vray , and I will make a note about it into our bug-tracking system.

For what can be used the render ID, that was my question some times too. I asked here today:

For VfR 1.5 - could the wire color get working? Is it on the bug list?
