I got this explanation. It does not help at all:
As a first step please download and install the latest Rhino Developers Kit:
http://download.rhino3d.com/RDK/4.0/release/download/
V-Ray uses the RDK to access information needed by its advanced features.

Sorry for the delay on reply.
With the guy from Sofia office we reinstalled rhino and vray and all worked good. Shortly after same problem appeared again: Rhino fails to load vray. What I did was to go to Rhino options, Plug-ins and just put thick "enabled" on vray for Rhino.
I remember I tried the dongle just before the problem on another machine during the weekend. It could be that it cause this problem.. in such case that would be another bug

Have tried everything .. no luck.
Thanks!

I had the same problem with the pervious Rhino 5 update. And I did everything stated too and it didnt work. Weirdly, the only way that I was able to get it to work is by going into options in rhino, then plugins, then going down to Vray and checking the enable box. Try that out.

I had this issue with V-Ray occur a few weeks ago. At the time I was focused on modelling rather than rendering so didn't spend long trying to fix it (and failed). I tried installing the RDK, reinstalling V-Ray several times but nothing worked.
I've just discovered that renee81 got it right, you need to reinstall V-Ray to the Program Files/Rhinoceros 5.0 Beta folder rather than Rhinoceros 5.0 WIP, which seems to be the default in the V-Ray install. I've just done this and it's fixed the problem straight away. It would be nice if there were a sticky telling people how to fix this, it seems to be a common problem.
