Reasons why a spawn-er wouldn't work?

Hello,
I recently switched Rhino5 and Vray from my work computer (windows xp 32) to my personal laptop (windows 7 64) because simply Vray wouldn't load on the XP (why? No idea, went through everything and it either doesnt load or sends rhino into a non responsive mode).

Anyway, I had all of the spawners and working on the XP, but now that is is on the Windows 7, it wont work. Spawners are installed, IP addresses are the same, Firewalls are off, Network is working, still doesnt work)

So I am posting this, not as a question, but as a group discussion on why a DR system might not work. Maybe we can get a good post with some common problems on it. Then people can look and read it, almost like a trouble shooting guide. Sound good?

In the mean time, it sounds like V-Ray may not be getting a license on your work computer. Are you trying to install V-Ray 1.5 for Rhino 5 (x86)? Do you have a dongle and is it already programmed with a valid V-Ray 1.5 for Rhino license?
