I am running the very latest Rhino 5-64 bit with V-Ray 1.5.22165 (ADV) on Windows 7 pro 64.
I can open files, access many V-Ray panels, work on materials, load new visopts ... but as soon as I render it locks up and I have to force-quit Rhino. When I re-launch, I get an error message stating, "Failure to exit previous session. We have detected that V-Ray was not properly shut down... etc."
I have uninstalled, then re-installed several times, but no luck yet. I made sure to remove the dongle until the new app was re-installed. I even tried an old suggestion to run Rhino as an administrator. Nothing works.
This computer also has a copy of Rhino 4 + V-Ray 1.05 and its running just fine.
Please help! I need to get this working.
