Hi,
I try to render per 1.5 an interior and the LC is set to 32 passes to use all cores of the Xeon. But this seems to cause, that after the LC pass is calculated at the master machine (Xeon), the slaves are still working on the LC passes. The progress window of the slaves show several lines of "Light cache time interval is (0.000000, 29.99999", where the progress window of the master is calculating the final pass. At the end, the image is calculated without the slaves.
Can the LC pass not be limited to the master machine only, since the slave doesn't help for the LC?
OK, calculating the LC pass without DR, save it to the disk and use it as LC cache for DR works, but a simplier solution should be possible.
Regards,
Micha
