Freeze on render save

This started last night out of nowhere. Every single time I click the save button from the rendered image window my computer locks up. If I hit ctrl, alt, del it will free up, but unless I do that the computer will remain frozen.

I have seeing this issue, but we are unable to reproduce this issue every time. The issue seem to be very random. Can you tell me more about your OS, the version of Rhino and V-Ray you are using. Did you installed a new software or plugin recently?

Sure thing,

My OS is Windows 7, my Rhino version is 4.0 SR 9, Vray is 1.5 and I have not installed any new plugins recently.

Thank you for the info. Right now we don't have a fix for that issue, but we will try to find a solution for that.
For now, you just have to do what you mentioned in the thread, use alt, ctrl, delete to unfreeze your computer.

Not solved at the nightlies - got the problem too again. It's a large rendering and I try to edit the curve and it freeze too.

Today it helps to restart Rhino, the rendering was fast redone, so it was no problem in this case.

But today also after a restart and a rerender doesn't help, the system is extreme slow. Also if I load a correction curve the curve isn't shown at the UI. It's a strong problem if after a long render time the image can't be saved.
