  • texture mapping does not work

    Once again I'm working on wrongly estimated project thanks to new vray bug (the version I use is a recent built about 10 days ago)

    I copy paste a box with mapped texture, rotate and here we go: texture placement is not the same anymore!! In mapping window I see all parameters remain also rhino render view shows it correct, but vray renders wrong

    Is it actually possible to know the current built of vray running on my computer?

    open rhino and push the F2 key, you will see "Loading V-Ray for Rhino, version 1.50.xxxx" towards the top of the list, you may need to scroll up. or go to rhino options -> plugins -> right-click on the v-ray plugin and select properties. version listed there too.

    i apologize in advance if i misread your tone, but there *is* a stable build available after all. the nightlies are in-progress, you should expect them to be buggy and build that into your time estimates.

      If it's a serious nightly bug, than it's good to know and a reason to wait until it is fixed. Please write at this thread, if the nightly works again.

      PS: For the future I think it's better to write on the beta forum.

          If you press F2 a windoe pops up and the first line says your version.

          Edit: Gah not used to posts being in this order.. saw someone replied..

            Hi all
            I could not reproduce this issue. Can you show me step by step how to reproduce it?
            Also, nightlies are up again. Please, if you are using a nightly build, use the private beta forum to talk about them.
