  • spotlight is broken

occasionally when creating a light (spotlight, rectangular light, point light) it will not function properly. the behavior is that the light will render as if it is not on. light properties will show it is not enabled and intensity is 0.0 - so that makes sense, but if you click "enable" and change the intensity to some non-zero number, the light still acts as if off. if you close rhino (not just the file) and reopen the file, the light properties show it is still not enabled and intensity is 0.0

this is quite frustrating as lights that had been working properly sometimes become corrupted in this way. the only way to fix this that i have found is to delete the light and build a new one.

    see example file attached below:
    bad light.zip

I just sent this as case 9502

So am I the only one seeing this then? Could someone else please download and see if they see the problem, so I know it's not just my install?
