Material does not appear in material editor

Hi,

I've seen this problem a couple of times and I managed to have it shown in the file attached.
The object has a V-Ray material assigned to it but the material does not appear in the Material Editor.
Tried a few tricks that sometimes worked like copy/paste the object or exporting/importing but this time nothing works.

Do you remember what steps you took to create this file?

Hi Matt,

First there was some Rhino v4/V-Ray 1.05 geometry imported into Rhino 5/V-Ray 2.
Some of the objects were having this problem where their material was not accessible. It's a pretty big file so I created a sphere and used Rhino's material Match command to have it get the material and then exported the sphere.

We would need the 1.05 geometry file to debug what is going on with the material in this case. The file you have already sent is missing all material information and doesn't give us any information about what is happening.
