  • Toon lines missing in orthographic view

    Hi,

I need to render quite simple looking images with outlines for a technical presentation. In perspective view anything is fine, but if I try to render an orthographic view fine lines are missing. I tried a Rhino orthographic view and also the Vray orthographic camera. Nothing helps. Looks like there is a problem with long distances between camera and object, since a perspective camera and 1000 mm lens length cause the same problem.

Is there a trick to get clean lines in an orthographic view?

    Ciao,
    Micha

I tested my other (seldom) used render engine AIR. Also problems with outline artefacts, but I found that a general trace bias of 10 help to fix the problems. At Vray I don't found a working bias option. Is there an option to fix my problems?
