Interface slow and freezes often

I'll have to go looking at some of the threads, I seem to recall some bug fixes. But I'm just perplexed that there aren't more frequent updates.

Which change in the nightlies do you need in the edu version? There have not been a lot of changes done to 2.0 since we have been focusing on 3.0 for some time now.

So ironically, THIS is the thread I'm talking about. Fernando talks in post #2 about this issue being fixed in the nightlies, which we can't use in an academic environment.
