Vray Dialogues Locking (NOT FREEZING!)

Periodically I'll be doing some normal stuff in vray and then all of a sudden I'll go to click a vray window (usually options is the one I click on when I notice) and it just 'beeps' or 'dings' (default windows noise for 'no, you cant do that') and the interface is grayed out, as if another window is prompting action..... no other window can be found in: task manager, alt tab, windows tab, etc...

I have not been able to recreate this issue and it only affects vray, not rhino. I usually just save and restart rhino, but that can be complicated at times (time is money!)

Does anyone have any idea on what this is or why it is happening? Most I've found as far as help goes is actual crashing, or freezing the whole machine/rhino. Mine issue only affects vray...

I tried Fernando's INI trick. The description doesnt sound exactly as my issue but we will see if it works.

Until then, I'm still taking suggestions!
