Lens effects settings reset upon new render

Hi there,
long time no see for the past years I've been busy applying and broaden my V-Ray knowledge in practice.
Now that I want to talk the company into moving to V-Ray 3, I am testing via trial version and it seems that I have to put my skills to the test once again... quite a few things changed - most of them to the better!
So, at first: congrats to everybody at ChaosGroup and all the Beta Testers to what you have achieved!

For now, there are three riddles that I cannot solve. One of them being the Lens Effects:
Every time I start a render, even though I did not change any settings, the Lens Effects will be deactivated and reset.

Can anyone copy that?

Yup... I've complained about this issue many times. ChaosGroup says they're aware of the problem and working on it...fingers crossed it's fixed in the next release.

This is a known issue. It should work properly when Swarm is disabled.
A solution is being developed, but right now I cannot guarantee whether it would be included in the upcoming update.
