Rhino 5 crashes on startup after installing 3.6

I get to the Loading Plugin phase of installing the new plugin on rhino start up and rhino crashes to the desktop every time.

I uninstalled 3.4, even went through and deleted artifact directories after uninstall, restarted windows 10 - 1709, ran vray 3.6 installer. crash...

repeated 3 times... no luck..

Hello,

This week i got a lot of problems with Rhino and V-Ray. First of all was licensing problem. I solved with reinstall license server. Secondly, after installation 3.6, I tried to insert i model and rhino crashed over and over again. I unchecked non-default plug-ins from tool bar options and found problem. That was V-Ray. I reinstalled V-Ray and problem solved. Maybe you may try to reinstall V-Ray again (I don't know did you try before but if you didn't maybe it works). You can also deactivate non-default plug-ins like T-splines, VisualARQ etc. Hope you can fix.

There was a problem with the VisualARQ plugin and the new version of V-Ray.
We did our best to resolve it quickly.
If you download 3.6 from our webpage now and re-install V-Ray, the problem should be gone.

If any of your problems persists you can share a scene or asset causing it so that we can investigate further.

I dont have VisualARQ installed and the updated installer has not resolved my problem.

Rhino 5 crashes during plug-in registration of V-Ray for Rhino.

I have crash dumps available.

If you haven't already, could you please send an email at support@chaosgroup.com providing the crash dumps as well as stating your OS version and a list of other 3rd-party plugins you use beside V-Ray?
