  • Hide from viewport inconsistent

The "eye" icon for "Hide from Viewport" on the Bitmap dialog doesn't seem to work reliably. It seems to be a refresh problem because toggling from view to hide from viewport doesn't make any difference. Also the balloon description is a bit confusing because it reads "Show in Viewport" when the eye has a crossing line and "Hide" when it doesn't ... shouldn't it be the other way around? which one is which ..?

Thank you for your suggestion. The icon / tooltip combination may indeed be unintentionally confusing. I've logged your feedback.
Will double-check the viewport update inconsistency. Does forcing an update by changing the active View mode in Rhino work properly?
Additionally, please state what is your Rhino's full version number.

    Kind regards,
    Peter

      Hi Peter,
Changing the view mode doesn't seem to have effect. I've used at times RefreshAllTextures with some success but not always updates, some are really stubborn. The only thing that seems to work is to assign to the object or layer a totally different material and then go back to the previous one and often the bitmap updates the viewport.
