  • Problems packing a project

I'm not able to pack a project with vray's pack feature. I keep getting the message below:

Click image for larger version Name:	pack-error.jpg Views:	1 Size:	37.2 KB ID:	999737

Opening the .tmp file on a text editor it says that there's a "duplicate filename on disk":
Click image for larger version Name:	tmp.jpg Views:	1 Size:	96.6 KB ID:	999738

I looked at the file path editor and everything seems fine Click image for larger version Name:	path-editor.jpg Views:	1 Size:	159.9 KB ID:	999739

There are several repeated entries, for example "net.tga", because the same texture is used in "Grating-sq" for transparency and for bump maps.
The same happens with other materials.
If for example I remove the object with material "Grating-sq" and purge it, it gives me the same error with the next material that uses one bitmap for several material attributes, in this case "Louv-square-big.jpg" and so on.

I've also applied the "purge unused materials" tool

    Any ideas?

Thank you for your report! This happens when asset files with the same name and extension (but from different locations) are used in the project. Our dev team is working on a solution.
In the meantime, the only viable workaround would be to manually rename the conflicting files.

    Kind regards,
    Peter
