Layer Materials Issue

Hi,
I have a strange problem with a file I received. The model has all the materials applied in the rhino layers and if I create a render you can see their properties, but if you try to edit those materials there is nothing at the asset editor.
The materials are vray materials and created with the same version of rhino 6 and vray 3.6.
Is there any way to edit the materials?

Could you please confirm that the project was created with V-Ray 3.60.03 and later opened with the same 3.60.03 build and not 3.60.02?

I was about to explain that this was the case, and I found your answer... Yes, the scene was created with a newer version, now with the latest I could edit all the materials.
