vray renders producing background files

Hi there. when I render using vray in rhino I am getting both the render as a PNG file but also a .background file which I think is a transparency map. what setting in vray do I need to turn off so that i dont get this .background file? thanks

At some point you must have added a Background render element.
If you use .PNG file format, each extra render channel is saved as a separate file with a suffix containing their name. Therefore, simply Remove it from your project's settings prior to rendering.
