What would be your approach to this task? I started with 3d modelling the facade in its entirety but as you can imagine its a lot of work. If I used a texture I could just have a bunch of surfaces stacked on each other set to the right height, 8",12",18" etc then texture map the texture to fit the height of each coarse.
Attached is the architects elevation and my progress rendering. You can see I've used the 3d Model approach for the tiles on the portico columns. I feel like this is the right move but perhaps unsustainable?
