Render Speeds

Hello,

I just noticed this afternoon that setting the render engine to use my 2 RTX GPUs was rendering images faster than using the 2 RTXs and the CPU together. This seems to be because when the CPU and the GPUs work together, the GPUs are only working to 65-70% of their capacity.

So my questions are, why would this be happening? And also, is there anything I can do to ensure that I am getting the most from my system?

Any suggestions or tips from the render gurus that frequent this forum would be gratefully received!

P.s. I have installed the latest Rhino Next 1.1 and also the latest Nvidia RTX Studio drivers.

In hybrid mode the CPU power is used for simulating GPU rendering, which is quite slow, instead to feed the fast GPUs only. So, the GPU get not enough data, since the CPU is doing the wrong work.
