    First post here . Yay !

    I just got my license and checked again on the lights that didn't seem to work when I was under the trial period : well, they work now.
    Maybe it's a strange restriction for the trial users, but I have read nowhere about it.
    If that's the case, then it gives the impression that the software is buggy, and generates woriies and frustration.
    Could be a bug too, I don't know.
    Here's what I used to get (there should be noticeable light patches on the ground and furniture, and light in the back room :

    Hello,
    There are no restrictions placed on the trial version of V-Ray for Rhino. It is functionally identical to the commercial one. The only differences are the duration of the licensing period and terms of use.
    Perhaps the trial version you've used is different than the one you currently use. In any case, if the issue reoccurs, please reach out to support@chaosgroup.com .

      Some times really high light values are needed. You can type in 1e6 for 1000000.
