  • Blurry Textures.

I'm having trouble with blurry textures in vray 3.6.
I have a blend material with an alpha channel, but when rendered the alpha is blurry and the edges have bad artifacting.

I'm rendering in GPU mode with texture resizing set to 2048. anti-aliasing filter is off.
if i render in CPU it looks perfect, so it's something to do with my GPU settings. I'm not getting any errors but if i turn off texture resizing or go above 2048px in the texture resizing settings i'm getting weird results. would this be my GPU running out of memory?

    Hi Shane C

Could you please share a sample project where the issue is reproducible? If this is alright, please send an archived copy (V-Ray > Pack Project) to support@chaosgroup.com via email or a file-sharing service of your choice

      Hello Shane C

Please excuse me for the late reply!
The issue you are experiencing is due to unsupported procedural texture(Tri-Planar) in the bump slot. Please note that only some procedural textures are supported on the GPU engine.
More information regarding supported features in the following link:https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...orted+Features
To resolve the issue please delete the Tri-Planar texture from the Bump slot and use Bitmap texture instead.
