Material ID leaking

Just wondering if anybody else has the feeling that Material ID chanel leaks.. It is not sharply selectable in photoshop afterwards (via color selection).
Simple test with any material proves.

Do you use the magic wand or the color range selection tool? The second tool works better for me.

Could you please share more information regarding the color selection leeks?
Screenshots of the procedure and tools used in Photoshop to better illustrate the issue and if possible a .vrimage file so we can test it on our side.

If this specific render element is behaving in a strange way please consider other ways to select elements of the output image like Cryptomatte, Multi Mate(note that there is a bug in version 4.20.01 so Multi Matte will not work with this specific version), Object ID and Material ID render elements.
