I'm testing the speed of Vray render using CPU engine and GPU. I have 24 core at 3,47 MHz and the Ge force 1080ti.
If I use the hybrid rendering (cpu+gpu) the time to rendering is about 50% MORE then if I use the GPU only!
I can't understand why

I found exactly the same thing. A very helpful member called Micha gave an answer and a link to a discussion:
"In hybrid mode the CPU power is used for simulating GPU rendering, which is quite slow, instead to feed the fast GPUs only. So, the GPU get not enough data, since the CPU is doing the wrong work."
