  • The eternal 'UNSTABLE' problem in Swarm

I have a workstation and two slave machines and a total of 3 rendering nodes, total 3 machines. I keep getting the 2 machines with rendering nodes useless with the 'UNSTABLE' status. I've updated the license server to 5.5.0. to no avail.
I've checked the settings and all IP's point to my main machine, although I've installed the lic server in all of them and I've tried also to point them all to it's own local server but it works for a couple of minutes and the 2 slave machines go back to 'UNSTABLE'.
The license server shows always 1 node being used and 2 free.
Can you please help? I'm rendering an animation and it's taking forever .... Thanks

"Unstable" status indicates a configuration issue, not necessarily a license one, although this is the most likely reason.
You can check if the license settings point towards the correct license server address - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ration-License

Thanks Ivan but like I mentioned in my OP the settings point to the correct server IP. I'll contact support.
