  • Tip: enabled GI reflective caustics

    Hi,

at the moment I need to render small airplane lavatories. I was not so happy since objects in the near of the large mirrors was looking to dark and greyish. Per default GI reflective caustics are disabled. I enabled it and give it a chance. I'm very happy about the new result per LC-BF GPU rendering. Much more light is transported though the small space since the mirrors doesn't block the light transport anymore and nice caustic effects are visible.

nowadays it makes no sense to live them off...

In the past at VfR1/2 it was able that it cause bad looking artefacts. Maybe it is overseen that it works better now and needs to be enabled.
