Are these appearances useful in VRAY for Rhino? Do VRAY users rely on these for daily use? How do you apply them in your model so that VRAY will recognize them (drag and drop doesn't work).

Kindly note that the format is currently not supported in V-Ray for Rhino

Hi,

The infrastructure allows to import a.vrmat that contains a MtlMDL plugin with some additional parameters. I'm not sure if the UI will like it, but it is very much possible in theory
