Settings summary

Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to export a summary of the settings used for each render? I know you can export the settings to be reused, but I was wondering if there was a more efficient way to compare settings after renders have completed...

Hi chris_grieve

One way to compare render settings is to export .vrscene files with the different render settings from the V-Ray Asset Editor or from V-Ray tab > V-Ray Rendering > Export VRScene in Rhino (you can check how here: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...ingaV-RayScene).

You can then check the differences in the render settings by comparing both vrscenes. Тext editors like Notepad++ (by using the Compare plugin) or Online text editors could be used for this purpose as indicated here.
