  • How to view image maps in Rhino "Render Mode"

Back in the day you had a small "eye" icon on the bottom right of preview image in the Asset Editor (see attached Picture). This was great because it allowed us see the map placed on our models in the "Rendered" display mode. What happened to it? Is it hidden somewhere else? Does it have something to do with the "pin" icon in the upper left corner of the image preview? Is there a setting in Rhino that I need to adjust? I love this program but I'm really missing that feature sometimes. If anyone has any information please let me know.

    Cheers,
    David

    Hey David,

This option is gone and replaced by the Binding option, which allows you to do essentially the same. You can insert any texture map for preview to your liking and enable/disable it at your convenience - https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...erride+Control

      Hi,

you can't preview procedural maps in the viewport, only bitmaps. You have Noise here, that you need to bake into a bitmap first.
