Rhino freezes by adding fur - "building hair SD tree"

dear community,

I've got a really nice and powerful computer (AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 3975WX 32-Cores 3.50 GHz) with a RTX3090 graphic card, but I don't feel like I can render fast.
It often just get stucked, especially when i add fur by changing the setting to make it look like real fur.
My computer complete shut down and the only way to get out is turn off/of by force.

does anyone can help?

Keep in mind that dynamic geometry does consume a lot of memory; You might want to try and optimize your Fur instances. You also might find useful our articles on memory usage optimizations for CPU and GPU rendering:
