Sharpen/blur post effect?

Hi,

I thought this new option is for applying a DOF post effect, but it seems to be for an other use. For what the new option can be used? Is the blur effect helpful against aliasing effects during animations?

This is exactly correct.
The new layer can give you simple Blur or Sharpen similar to what you get with Photoshop.

As for a post DOF - it is on our roadmap but there is still no way to do it in the VFB.

I hoped something like DOF PRO could be used in the VFB. I'm curious what will come.
