I'm trying to get this effect of calm water spots in Vray for Rhino's procedural wave texture (target highlighted in red, reality shown in the next image...).
I have found a fix for Pheonix for 3DS Max (https://docs.chaos.com/display/PHX4M...-InfiniteOcean), however it seems VRay for Rhino does not have a non-cyclic procedural texture slot? as there is not option for both local and global variance in texture.
I have tried to 'stack' planes but this does not work.
It looks very realistic but I can't find any setup or command to achieve that.
