  • Rendering caustics from Grasshopper

    Hello,

I am looking for a way to run Caustic simulations from within Grasshopper. To my knowledge, when running the render from Rhino, I am able to turn on Caustics from the Settings, but I am unsure of how to do it from Grasshopper. I appreciate your time and help. Thank you!

    Best,
    Bhava.

    Hello bhavatarini_kumaravel,

You cannot enable Caustics from Grasshopper directly, but you can set them in Rhino from Asset Editor and then use the Render in Project component to render the Grasshopper scene in Rhino. Basically it adds the input scene geometry to the active Rhino scene - Rhino render settings, environment and Sunlight will be used. Here you can find additional information - https://docs.chaos.com/display/VRHIN...der+in+Project .

Let me know if this is helpful!

    Kind regards,
    Iva
