  • Focal distance

Hi all- here is a Rhino toolbar that will report the distance from the camera to the target... might help for setting up focal blur in the Camera page of Vray options.

Thanks Pascal, but there is only one line of code under the button and it doesn't seem to do much right now. Did we get the correct version ?

Also, I think, the syntax should include a dash right before the "_runscript" command.

Ah neat, better than manually measuring it

This guy have some scripts for free download, some are really amazing...
There is a CameraLine script, I have not tested it on vray, but what it dose is either match your camera to a line or extract a line from your current camera...

              Tell me if it works

Take a look at the CameraLine script

This little thread has been the single most 'damn, it's a small world' example I think I have ever witnessed.

                      ...funny.

Yeah- maybe a checkbox or reset button to enter the current camera-target distance in that box.
