  • Texture sampling

    Hi,

I have the feeling if I use textures, the structure of the textures are a little bit to much blury. What can I do, if I want to get more details?

... here an example. Left image original rendering, right image rendered in double resolution and downscale. How can I get more details at textures? Only with the downscale method?

      Micha,

      You have two other options.

      1. Use different Image Sampler than the default adaptive subdivision.
      2. If you want to stay with Adaptive Subdivision adjust the threshold setting to a smaller value. A threshold value of .01 should fix your problem.

More image sampler information can be found here http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/VRay...ampler.htm#ex5 .

Thank you, I forget the help side to often.

A question more: In the help I have found the camera bias setting for a vignetting effect. Which values are good to use here?
