Is there a way to disable the normal and zmap saving?

Is there a way to call up the frame buffer with the last rendered image? Several times I've accidentally closed it and lost the render.

there is a command you can run, 'VRayVFB', that will show the last buffer

    [edit]
Didn't see your first question, soon I will have a section where you can specifiy which channels are rendered out, so I guess that will allow a round-about way to control which are saved, but as of now, I don't believe you can specify which channels are saved

      Thanks Joe!

Is there a list of Vray commands available somewhere? If not, perhaps this could be included in a Readme doc or something.

ASGVRayOptions is the only other command (it brings up the options). I think I might just make all of our commands start with ASG so they are all nicely grouped and easy to pop up and select from...I guess that would make it easier on everyone. So when we release the next build VRayVFB will now be ASGVRayVFB. Sound good?

          Hi Joe,

I guess as long as "ASG" is documented somewhere, it would be okay. As it is, it is possible to stumble across the VRayVFB command with the autocomplete function at the command prompt. When I typed "vr", the rest of the command came up. I wouldn't have associated "ASG" immediately with VRay.

yeah, we'll have to document it somewhere. Eventually people will associate ASG with VRay for Rhino at least

Ok, we've decided to make 'vis' be the prefix for our commands. We made a note in our announcment, but just to remind everyone again...

              visVFB (show frame buffer)
              visOptions (show render options)
              Best regards,

                another question regarding saving:
will there be an option for saving png with either 24 or 48 bit? now png is only saved with 24bit, there is no option to choose.
