Hey guys-
I'm fooling around with texture mapping for the first time and I'm having a little trouble figuring out the best way to use the mapping tools.
In this example, I used spherical mapping in the Rhino mapping dialog and I checked texture mapping and explicit map channel in the vray texture editor. The texture is clear, but the mapping for the pot, the spout, and the handle are different.
In this example, I used spherical mapping in the Rhino mapping dialog and I checked environment and spherical in the vray texture editor. The teapot, spout, and handle are all mapped the same, but the texture is blurry and looks as if it might be scaled incorrectly.
How can I make this so all the elements of the teapot are mapped together and the texture is scaled correctly and not blurry?
Last of all. Cheers to Corey and all the other development guys for the new procedural textures. They go a long way to making this the perfect tool for what I do. Is there any info we can get that describes exactly what they do and how to use them? Most of them are a mystery to me. AColor...? Bulge?
Thanks
Andy
