on how to render a product?
I see lots of really nice rendering on the gallery section. Eventhough I feel I can generate pretty decent rendering on software like alias, imagestudio, on Vray I feel very very lost. I read and read the forum but it would be very helpfull to visually see what kind of set-up i need to do (how to create skight light), what kind of light, how to inport a texture.
There are here lots of great tips for advanced features but it is lacking basic things.
I feel frustrated because I know that Vray can generate incredible renderings however I still output 300% better with my former tools.
Anyone willing to post something or send me a dummy file with settings?
I am sure lots of other rhino users feel lost like me...
    Thanks!

      tutorials

      Hi Nicolas

I think I'm in the same situation as you because I also tested for 30 day the Alias image studio product but although is very fast for new users if you want to go one spet forward and really lern what the hell you are changing with those parameters you need something else.

I belive that after I know a bit more of what does all those names in vray mean I will be able to do excelent renders.

I'm also very ansious about the final release.

      regards
      Sergio

... Sorry, I don't have time to prepare tutorials now. Two months befor I have start to use Vray for Rhino and I have started with the tutorials from here:
        http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/VRayHelp150beta/

Also, I have seen in the list from Thomas some links for tutorials:
        http://www.asgvis.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=202

Also, the Vray main forum is a good source for infos.

I have learned to use VfR per rendering, rendering ... and rendering.
