    Re: tutorials

I save a new version for Rhino 4 with full enabled gamma correction now. It looks a little bit different than befor.

          Hi Micha,

Yes I've seen it. That was actually the first thing I started to look at and play around with when I started with VfR. It´s a great starterkit! Your tutorials and other stuff
has given me a lot of help when trying to learn VfR.

                Re: tutorials

Hi, I'm new with Vray and I've installed the Trial version on Rhino 4. I have a problem about the result of my first render following the "getting started" tutorial.
Why the GI works only with the Skylight environment? I can't have the same result of the tutorial because of the strong influence of the enviroment on the three objects. Moreover I need to turn off the background to have it in black.
                Thanks in advance.

I'm resolving reading the manual, very well done! Thanks the same.

I suppose so you use the physical cam. This cam is set to work with the high intensity of the sky system. If you disable the sky, than you must an other exposure or high intensities of the lights or you use the standard cam.

                    Micha,
thanks a lot for your reply. I'm reading the manual and I discovered what you are telling me.
I've tested some renders and I'm impressed what can I do with few settings. Great!
One last thing: what means the multiple serial number(when you choose to buy), is that the multiple license?

                    Thanks again.

                      Re: tutorials

In some cases you may want 1 serial number with multiple activations ( if you want to use the same serial number for an entire office ), and in other cases you may want a separate serial number for each activation. That is what it is referring to.
                      Best regards,
