Hallo,
today I was working on a scene and I have thought, I could try one of the presets from ASGvis. So, I load a preset and my scene dosn't render right anymore. The problem is, that all options are overwritten - my environment options, my cachefile options ... . So, the preset are only for fresh projects useful yet.
My suggestion is to use a simple readable format for the files. So I could open the visopt file per windows standard editor and read&use the GI options only. Extra advantage: the options could be easy shared as code text in the forum here .
Or, if the user import options, a dialog popup and the user can choose which options should be imported per groups - camera, system, GI primary, GI second ... . But I think, this it to complicated to implement now.
