    Dear all

Here is my Rhino model: www.paraglobal-3d.com/downloads/vw_trucks1.rar

I'm making a render for some automotive parts that i made but I'm having some problems because the plastic is black.

I don't know why but my images seem CG and my part becomes way too dark for the detais to be seen.

Any tutorial on how to render this kind of parts would be very nice

    Thanks
    Sergio

Short suggestions: most important for black objects are reflections. Try to model round edges everywhere. Like in the real world, every edge is round and if the object is reflective, each edge reflect the environment. Best you use a HDRI environment. Maybe you test my starter kit. A good indoor HDRI is the classical "building"

Black plastics - don't forget, in real life black is not "no color". Try to use low color vales like 5 or 10.

Tried it too, you won't get any more detail unless you fillet all the edges... Not easy on this model though.

But in fact I can see all the detail on your rendering, maybe your monitor is adjusted too dark?
