Hi,
Can we at this hour, do this kind of texture mapping in Vray for Rhino Using rhino texturing tool in ONE Step (Select-Apply the map/color) on joined surface) and get this result ?
Thank you very much. I think the answer is still no.
Not because of vray, but the way rhino is done in v3.

What kind of mapping is it? I think, you could get something similar per planar projection.

yes for the ball,
for the outside opened ring, I will have to tweak to match the contrasted lines.
